Program
The programme of the 12th Beremzhanov Congress will include plenary and sectional lectures, poster presentations, round table discussions on the main directions of chemistry, chemical technology and chemical education.
Challenges and Prospects for Workforce Development in the Chemical Industry
Panel sessions organized by various sectors of the chemical industry:
- Chemical Industry
- Food Industry
- Petrochemical Industry
- Mining and Metallurgical Industry
- Pharmaceutical Industry
Leading chemical product manufacturers, including Kazphosphate, Kazatomprom, ZincKaz, BASF, and other companies (participation of representatives is being confirmed), will take part in the round table. This event will provide an opportunity to discuss pressing issues regarding the collaboration between the chemical industry and educational institutions. Several presentations will be given to analyze current challenges and propose solutions.
Main topics for discussion:
- The gap between graduate qualifications and employer requirements.
- Professional standards and their implementation in education.
- Competencies required by the chemical industry for young professionals.
- Collaboration between enterprises and universities in the process of workforce development.
- Innovative approaches to student education and internships in the context of modern industry challenges.
A key feature of this round table will be panel sessions, organized by various sectors of the chemical industry. During these sessions, representatives of companies and educational institutions will collaboratively develop ideas and proposals aimed at improving the workforce development system.
